Valentino has collaborated with charity organisation Cash & Rocket to launch a limited edition capsule collection to raise funds for a number of worthy causes.
The collection is a combination of ready-to-wear pieces, shoes, accessories and small leather goods. The new range is racing inspired with elegant leather driving gloves and full-length jumpsuits and high collared blazers in practical fabrics and camouflage prints. All Valentino x Cash & Rocket accessories are emblazoned with a studded heart motif and Valentino’s signature rock stud heel has also been reworked to compliment the new range.
The capsule collection will be exclusively available from May 14 on Stylebop.com and Valentino will be donating 20% of proceeds from the collection to Cash & Rockets three chosen charity partners: Shine on Sierra Leone, OAfrica and Sumbandila, which provide life-changing support to women and children in Africa through education and healthcare.
The launch of the capsule collection coincides with Cash & Rocket’s 4th annual fundraising road tour, in which a convoy of 35 red luxury sports cars and 70 of the world’s most influential and successful women journey to iconic European cities to raise global awareness and funds for the charities.
Valentino creative director Maria Grazia, Stylebop.com creative director Leila Yavari and models Jodie Kidd, Elena Perminova, Arizona Muse, Selita Ebanks and Anna Cleveland are just a few of the famous names joining the convoy which will travel from London to Paris, Lyon and Milan, before finishing in Cannes for the beginning of the city’s famous film festival on the 19th of May.
Cash & Rocket’s vision has created a platform for luxury global brands to promote their products in innovative ways and gain high exposure, whilst also supporting these amazing charities.
“Cash & Rocket was set up to bring inspiring women together for the ultimate adventure of a lifetime. Through female solidarity, our aim is to raise money for charities around the world, which will make a huge difference to the lives of many. Throughout history women have done things differently to get something done. We do it together,” Julie Brangstrup, Founder and CEO of Cash & Rocket said.
Through their vital work and solidarity Cash & Rocket and their partners are making a huge difference to the lives of hundreds of women and children in Africa. There has really never been a better reason to shop.
